Human Anatomy and Physiology

This course offers an in-depth study of the structure and function of the human body.  Study areas will include skeletal system, cardiovascular system, and muscular system.  Labs will include dissection of a pig heart, pig kidney and fetal pig, as well as respiration and muscle function.  This course is designed for students planning a health career or those interested in an overall appreciation of how we are put together.  It will also assist Allied Health Sciences II with an understanding of the correlation between structural, functional, and medical applications.
