Physics/Honors Physics
This course studies the interactions of matter and energy as defined by the basic laws of physics. The development of the science of physics, problem solving, and laboratory investigations are involved. The state curriculum is followed and the curriculum is exceeded in the areas of thermodynamics, nuclear energy, optics, electromagnetism and modern physics. Inquiry based labs using 21st Century Skills will be used throughout the semester. Projects and research are required for the Honors Physics. The NC EOC test is required and administered at the conclusion of the course.
